History

Founded by Dominique Reyl and led by François Reyl between 2008 and 2024, REYL Intesa Sanpaolo has enjoyed significant organic growth, focused on developing its business lines and its international presence. Four partners contribute their experience and expertise: François Reyl (Senior Partner), Pasha Bakhtiar (CEO), Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula (Wealth Management), and Christian Fringhian (Corporate Finance). In 2021, the REYL Group signed a major strategic partnership with Fideuram - Intesa Sanpaolo, a leading European banking entity. In 2024, after 16 years as CEO, François Reyl joins the Board of Directors and Pasha Bakhtiar becomes CEO.

Diversification of business lines

Originally concentrated on its core Wealth Management business line, REYL Intesa Sanpaolo has continuously expanded its service offering to meet the increasingly complex needs of its private and institutional clients. The Bank is now also active in the following areas: Wealth Management, Corporate Finance, Asset Services, and Asset Management.

International expansion

Headquartered in Geneva, REYL Intesa Sanpaolo has implemented a strategy of geographic diversification in order to come closer to its clientele of international entrepreneurs and institutional investors by opening offices in Luxembourg (2009), Singapore (2009), Zurich (2011), Lugano (2012), London (2013), Malta (2015), and Dubai (2015).
