With a strong background as a qualified lawyer, Thomas Fontaine advises Reyl Private Office’s clients on corporate and wealth planning issues, in an international context.
Prior to joining Reyl Private Office in 2011, Thomas served as an in-house lawyer with Fortis Bank, Merchant Banking, in 2007 in Paris. During two years, he worked as an associate in the European Global Finance Group of Orrick Rambaud Martel in Paris, advising clients on shipping and other structured asset finance transactions. He settled in Switzerland in 2009 with the law firm lecocqassociate where he structured investment funds and advised international clients in the context of their private and financial issues.
Thomas obtained a Master in Business Law in 2002 and a Postgraduate degree in Contract Law in 2003 (Major in International Contract Law), from the Paris Descartes University. In 2008, he was granted the title of Doctor of Law after completing a Ph.D in Project Finance’s investment guarantee mechanisms and finally passed the Paris Bar examination.
