Management of the Group & Subsidiaries
After working as an intern for three years in three different companies, Robert Curmat began his career in 1980 at the Scandinavian Bank where he managed a team of programmer/analysts and a range of development projects for the bank over seven years. He then worked as IT Manager for the Royal Bank of Canada in Geneva for two years before joining the Geneva branch of Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole in 1989 as Head of IT and Operations. He contributed to its development over ten years, during which time he held the position of Administrative Director from 1992 to 1996. He was appointed CEO in 1997, responsible for the transfer of the branch’s personnel and activities to Banque Indosuez in Geneva (following its purchase by Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole) and the branch's closing. He joined Logical Access in Geneva as Deputy CEO in 1998.
He joined REYL & Cie as Administrative Director in 2000. He is a member of the Executive Committee and manages REYL & Cie's IT. He contributes his extensive experience to all of the bank's business lines, including banking Operations, Organisation and IT.
Robert Curmat is a graduate of the University of Geneva (Economics, Management IT '77).
